Conference Tour 2, 12 June 2026 – VersuchsStollen (The Hagerbach Test Gallery), Flums

The conference tour 2 is a guided visit to the VersuchsStollen (The Hagerbach Test Gallery) in Flums. There will be a presentation of The Underground Future Lab, which was founded in 1970 and is a Research Infrastructure of National Importance. The tour offers technical insights into over 50 years of research history, from historical projects to modern developments in tunnel construction and it can be booked upon registration at the cost of CHF 70.00. The number of participants is limited to 100.

The Hagerbach Test Gallery is a fascinating underground world. Visionary master builders and scientists from all over the world find answers to the pressing questions of our time in an area of more than 25 000 square metres. A multitude of tunnels, caverns, test fields, laboratories and training rooms offer ideal conditions for research, development, testing, 1:1 experiments and events of all kinds. National and European research projects are carried out in the VersuchsStollen in Flums.
