Abstract and paper submission

Abstract submission

The submission process will be done in two stages and all through ISSMGEs Conference Review Platform. First, authors are invited to submit an abstract describing the topic and details of their presentation and select a themed session on which they are interested in presenting. Then, after the abstract approval, the authors are invited to submit a paper. 

Please note:

  • Abstracts should have between 150 to 250 words.
  • Abstracts are submitted through the ISSMGE platform (closed).
  • You need to use your free ISSMGE account to login
  • If you are submitting multiple papers, please use a same account
  • Select a themed session (see the above list)
  • Note that abstracts submitted to the ECPMG 2024 may be later reassigned to a different themed session depending on the review.

 

Paper submission

After the abstract approval, the authors are invited to submit a paper. 

Please note:

  • You need to use your free ISSMGE account to login, and follow the original abstract submission (check the e-mail with subject: Abstract Review Decision)
  • Papers should follow the ECPMG 2024 template instructions (download template below)
  • Papers should be 2 to 6 pages long, including tables, figures, acknowledgements, references, etc.
  • Confirm the selected themed session
  • Note authors can make adjustments to the initial submitted abstract

Publication and copyright information:

  • Authors retain all rights to their articles in the conference proceedings.
  • A copyright agreement form will be provided to authors and must be submitted at the time of acceptance and final submission of revised papers.
  • Accepted papers will be published in a free and open access conference proceedings in the ISSMGE Online Library.
  • Each paper will be indexed with its own individual DOI number and Conference Proceedings, with their own ISSN.
  • The conference editorial board may invite selected conference papers for an special issue on a high impact journal.
