TC104 session at the 16th Asian Regional Conference in Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering 2019
The Asian geotechnical community descended on Taipei, Taiwan for the 16th Asian Regional Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering from 13st – 18th October 2019. This provided the perfect backdrop for the Asian members of ISSMGE TC104: Physical Modelling in Geotechnics to get together. A dedicated session “TC104 – Physical modelling in geotechnics” allowed for dissemination of news, updates and a series of technical presentations about recent advances in our field. Approximately 30 delegates attended the workshop ranging from TC regional representatives, professors, students and some new faces to our community.
